1. Agreement and operator
Lure is operated by Shahhin Sarlak of 108/7-11 Smith Street, Ryde NSW 2112, Australia. By creating an account or using Lure, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lure.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement where you live. You must complete any required age assurance honestly. Do not help another person evade an age check, block, account restriction or moderation decision.
On the web, an account without an existing age decision can self attest by selecting “I am 16+”, and an expired previous web declaration can be renewed the same way. You must make this declaration truthfully and only for yourself. It is not identity verification and cannot overwrite an existing ineligible result, manual review or conflicting Apple decision.
On supported iPhones, Lure uses Apple Declared Age Range and accepts a self declared, guardian declared or confirmed source only when the shared lower bound is at least 16. This age range is not an identity verification. Lure also checks App Attest integrity, AppTransaction device ownership and the signed AppTransaction before the backend records eligibility.
Social access stays locked when the result is under 16, inconclusive, declined, unavailable or cannot be submitted securely. Android users without an existing eligible result must use the iOS app or request manual review. A date of birth is not accepted as proof.
A verified Apple consent withdrawal revokes that app transaction. A bound account moves to manual review rather than being described as underage.
3. Your account
Keep access to your email, device and authentication method secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell shahhinsarlak@gmail.com promptly if you believe your account is compromised.
Handles must not impersonate another person, infringe rights or mislead users. Do not sell or transfer an account in a way that compromises security or identity.
4. The service
Lure lets eligible users publish, discover and interact with audio. A Lure is audio of three minutes or less. Longer audio is a Deep. Audio must be at least five seconds and no longer than one hour.
Features can change, pause or end where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal duties or service operation. This does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Your content and licence
You keep ownership of content you submit.
You grant Lure a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free licence to host, store, reproduce, transcode, adapt for technical delivery, distribute, publicly perform and display your content through Lure. This includes using service providers and making previews, moderation copies and backups.
The licence ends after deletion within a reasonable technical period, except for backups, legal holds, safety records, dispute material and deidentified data that may be kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
You permit Lure to use your handle, display name and approved profile image to attribute your content within Lure. This does not grant broad off platform marketing rights.
6. Your content promises
Before publishing, you must confirm that:
- You own the audio or have permission to publish it on Lure.
- You have all needed music, performance, recording, privacy and publicity rights.
- Identifiable people have consented where consent is required.
- The content follows these Terms, the Community Guidelines and applicable law.
- Claims, promotions and fundraising statements are not deceptive.
Do not upload commercial music, samples or performances unless you have the rights required for hosting, streaming and public performance.
7. Safety and acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You must not:
- Exploit, sexualise, groom or endanger a child.
- Threaten, harass, stalk, bully or encourage violence or self harm.
- Promote hatred or dehumanisation based on a protected characteristic.
- Publish non consensual intimate material or private information.
- Impersonate, scam, distribute malware or seek credentials.
- Spam or automate fake listens, likes, follows, comments or reports.
- Infringe copyright or facilitate unlawful goods, services or activity.
8. Moderation, reports and blocks
AWS Transcribe and toxicity features, Rekognition and Bedrock Guardrails are used before publication where relevant. Automated tools can be wrong. Uncertain results receive human review. Content remains unavailable while pending.
Lure may reject, restrict, remove or reduce access to content and may restrict, suspend or delete accounts to enforce these Terms, protect safety, respond to rights claims or meet legal duties. Reason safe status and an appeal path are provided where appropriate. Urgent action can occur before notice.
Reports can cover accounts, posts, comments and media. Blocking applies in both directions, removes follows and suppresses affected content and activity. The other account is not told who blocked them. Blocking cannot control copies or activity outside Lure.
9. Copyright and rights complaints
Send a complaint to shahhinsarlak@gmail.com with your contact details, the protected work or right, the Lure content involved, why the use is not authorised and confirmation that your information is accurate.
Lure may send the substance of a complaint to the affected creator and may restrict content while reviewing it. Knowingly false complaints can have legal consequences.
10. Ko-fi tips
A creator may link to Ko-fi. Tips are optional and do not unlock Lure content or access. Ko-fi and its payment providers process the transaction under their own terms. Lure does not process the payment, charge commission or store card or bank details. Creators remain responsible for tax and disclosure duties.
11. Lure intellectual property
Lure and its licensors own the service, software, branding and material that is not user content. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non transferable right to use Lure for its intended purpose.
Do not sell, scrape, reverse engineer or exploit the service except where law does not allow that restriction or written permission is given.
12. Account deletion
You can request deletion in Profile Settings or at the Delete account page. Deletion requires recent authentication and a second explicit confirmation. Lure disables the account and completes deletion within 30 days, subject to permitted safety, financial and legal retention. A receipt lets you check status after sign out. Deletion is irreversible.
13. Third party services
Lure uses or links to services operated by others, including Amazon Web Services, Apple, GIPHY and Ko-fi. Their terms and privacy information can apply. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Disclaimers and liability
Lure is provided on an as available basis. User content reflects users' views, not Lure's. Lure does not guarantee that content is accurate, suitable, uninterrupted or error free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lure is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Responsibility for breach
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss reasonably suffered by Lure because your content or deliberate misuse breaches these Terms, infringes another person's rights or violates law. This does not apply to the extent Lure caused or contributed to the loss.
16. Changes, governing law and contact
These Terms may change for legal, safety, security, technical or service reasons. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where required. You may stop using Lure and delete your account if you do not accept a change.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts in New South Wales have non exclusive jurisdiction. Consumer protection laws that apply where you live remain unaffected.
