Safety

Safety Centre

Find the right reporting path, understand blocks and learn what happens when content is reviewed.

Effective and last updated 20 July 2026

Immediate danger

If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In Australia call 000. Lure is not an emergency or crisis service.

Report in Lure

Signed in users can report accounts, posts, comments and media from their safety menus. Reasons include child safety, immediate harm, sexual content, hate or harassment, violent threats, fraud, privacy, copyright and spam.

Reports are private and kept out of the reported person's view. Safety reports are retained for 24 months unless a documented legal hold requires longer retention. Internal scores and retained safety identifiers are not shown to users.

Email shahhinsarlak@gmail.com if the in app route is not available. Include the content, account, reason and any context needed to locate the issue.

Child safety

Lure prohibits child sexual exploitation, grooming and sexualisation. Do not download, copy or redistribute suspected exploitative material. Report it through the child safety reason and contact the appropriate authority where required.

Block an account

Use Block beside Report on an account or from a comment account menu. Confirming a block removes follows and immediately purges affected posts, comments, search results, connections and activity from local views. The restricted account view keeps Unblock and urgent Report available.

The other account is not told and private block direction is not exposed. Manage your list in Profile Settings under Privacy and Blocked accounts.

Checks before publication

Audio and metadata are checked with AWS Transcribe and toxicity features and Amazon Bedrock Guardrails. Profile images are checked with Amazon Rekognition. Uncertain results receive human review. Pending or rejected material is not published.

These systems can make mistakes. Creators see Under review or Action needed status without internal scores. A rejected or removed item can be appealed from Profile Settings. Lure remains fail closed if required AWS production configuration is absent.

Age decisions

Lure requires an authoritative eligible state before social content loads. On the web, an account without an existing age decision can self attest by selecting “I am 16+”. The backend records that declaration, and it cannot overwrite an existing ineligible result, manual review or conflicting Apple decision.

On iOS 26 or later, the app can submit an Apple age range with App Attest integrity and a verified AppTransaction. Apple does not provide a signed proof of the age range itself and Lure does not describe this as identity verification.

A range with a lower bound of at least 16 can be accepted whether its source is self declared, guardian declared or confirmed. Under 16, inconclusive, declined or unavailable results remain locked. Manual review, support, account deletion and sign out remain available.

A verified Apple consent withdrawal stores a protected revocation marker and moves a bound account to manual review. It is not treated as evidence that the person is under 16.

Copyright and privacy

For copyright, privacy or other rights complaints email shahhinsarlak@gmail.com. Identify the protected work or information, the Lure content involved, why it should not be available and how to contact you. Do not submit information that is not needed for review.

Appeals and contact

Use the appeal control shown with an age or moderation decision. State what you believe is wrong and the context a human reviewer should consider. You can also email shahhinsarlak@gmail.com for safety, privacy, copyright and appeal matters.
